Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a senior cloud engineer to deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. You will provision hosts, design secure compute, storage, and networking, and oversee IAM, security groups, and CSP services.

You will implement IaC/CI/CD practices, craft scripts for provisioning, document best practices, and liaise with clients to translate objectives into actionable requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• CSP Associate level cloud certs (AWS/Azure/OCI/Google).
• Professional level certification a plus.
• 8–15 years IT experience with cloud engineering mix.
• 3–4 years cloud engineering on vendor platforms.
• 4+ years debugging Windows or Linux in admin roles.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and steward cloud infrastructure; provisioning at scale.
• Define network, storage and compute designs for secure ops.
• Manage cloud services: IAM, security groups, CSP services.
• Use IaC and CI/CD to create and manage cloud resources.
• Develop scripts/templates for provisioning resources.
• Collaborate with teams to translate objectives into requirements.
• Review deployment needs with project teams and clients.
• Document best practices for server infra and cloud ops.
• Serve as client liaison to ensure needs are met.
• Identify and plan new cloud services and capabilities.
