Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in STEM fields; or advanced degrees with corresponding years.
• Experience leading systems development across the product development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hiring, staffing, engineering metrics and training resources, processes, and tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure systems engineering organizations across the sector are operating with predictable, repeatable rigor.
• Perform analysis to understand process differences between sites and implement changes to achieve commonality and business outcomes.
• Define oversight methods (e.g., metrics).
• Implement methods to drive program performance across cost, schedule, technical, quality, and staff.
• Collaborate on engineering long-term vision and strategic alignment.
• Execute strategy and stay ahead of industry trends and opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Partner with division engineering teams to improve systems engineering competitiveness using sector assets.
• Provide coaching and mentoring on the use of sector assets to programs and product lines.
• Partner with other organizations to enhance engineering processes across programs and establish execution metrics.
• Improve engineering through updated, automated, and efficient processes; act as sector interface as needed.
• Foster collaboration through reusable asset authorities and communities of practice.
