Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the functional management of a team of 8–10 software engineers across multiple programs. You will conduct performance assessments, staffing, and professional development while ensuring high-quality, efficient software lifecycles in collaboration with stakeholders.

You will oversee technical leadership for software systems, mentor engineers, and implement agile processes, JIRA workflows, and code management practices to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM field with 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years
• Proven leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills
• Experience developing and providing technical leadership of software systems
• Detailed understanding of all aspects of software development
• Mentoring skills and excellent two-way communication
• Knowledge of standard software engineering processes
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize across concurrent programs
• Willingness to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and active security clearances
