Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Systems Engineering Manager - Level 2 for our Colorado Springs, CO site (airport facility COCO1). The role provides technical and people leadership across two or more sites, guiding requirements, architecture, integration, and verification within a strong matrix environment.

The successful candidate will manage 10–15 technical staff, foster diverse, inclusive teams, and communicate clearly with customers and program leadership while maintaining ethics and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, aerospace, electrical or related STEM.
• Master’s degree with 4–6 years of experience may substitute for experience.
• Active US Government Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional leadership for SE organization across multiple divisions and programs.
• Lead requirements development, architecture, integration, verification and sell-off processes.
• Balance cost and schedule while maintaining engineering rigor and mission assurance for space-ground systems.
