The role emphasizes disciplined processes, risk management, and cross‑functional leadership to deliver credible engineering content and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree (or advanced) in engineering or STEM field.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain Top Secret.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience in a project engineering or technical lead role with cost and schedule accountability (EVMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers across the full development lifecycle.
• Own engineering execution for scope, schedule, and cost including planning, EV, and risk management.
• Ensure disciplined use of development processes and lifecycle plans.
• Lead reviews and provide guidance for proposals and capture activities.
• Make hiring decisions and manage performance to build a strong team.
• Collaborate with peers and leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Foster RTX values including inclusion and well‑being.
