Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Systems Engineering Manager 3 – IPT Lead to guide a multi-discipline SEIT IPT across Mission Systems, Space Vehicle, and Payload domains. The role demands handling system baselines, interfaces, verification, and cross-element coordination throughout the program lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a TS/SCI clearance, extensive space-system experience, and proven leadership of cross-functional engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR higher degrees
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance and SCI access
• Extensive systems engineering experience on space-related programs
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and resolving issues

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing SEIT IPT with defined priorities and cadence
• Provide system-level leadership across MSE, SVSE, and PLSE throughout the lifecycle
• Ensure requirements are decomposed, allocated, traced, and verified
• Oversee external interfaces and closure plans
• Lead system-level verification, validation planning and evidence integration
