Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in California seeks a Staff Systems Engineer (level 05) to serve as Technical Lead and SEI IPT Lead in Rancho Bernardo, El Segundo, or Palmdale. This is a full-time, on-site position with up to 10% travel.

You will guide a 20+ person cross-functional team, oversee requirements, validation, and architecture, maintain program baselines, and interface with the customer and Program Manager to ensure successful program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in STEM with extensive military/professional experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of 10+ individuals.
• Experience with lifecycle of Systems Engineering and requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of 20+ engineers for program integration.
• Oversee SEI IPT CAM cost and schedule management, EVMS awareness.
• Ensure engineering processes and timely core work products are delivered.
• Interface with Program Manager, Chief Engineer, System Architect and customer.
• Plan, execute, and close out program reviews and milestones.
