Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a System Engineer for a 12+ month contract in Downtown Dallas, TX. The role requires 8+ years of experience with Windows, Linux, Nutanix Prism Central, VMware vSphere, vRA, vRO, Horizon View, and related technologies in a global environment.

Responsibilities include managing Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, provisioning, security compliance, and day-to-day operations of control system environments. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Windows, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
Experience administering Nutanix, VMware, and vRealize Suite environments.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and group policies.
Scripting with PowerShell and automation skills.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer Windows (2012–2025) and Linux servers.
Support and manage server virtualization, provisioning, and maintenance of control system environments.
Maintain physical server lifecycle and decommission hardware when needed.
Maintain virtualized environments and VDI using Nutanix/VMware.
Apply security patches and ensure compliance with security policies.
