Job summary

Talon Professional Services seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to manage and enhance enterprise infrastructure on a hybrid-cloud platform. The role spans Windows Server, VMware, and Azure, with a focus on high availability, security, and scalability across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will automate processes, develop standards, and troubleshoot complex issues while collaborating with diverse technical teams in a fast-paced environment that supports critical business operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022+).
• VMware vCenter/ESXi/vSphere clusters administration.
• PowerShell scripting for automation and config mgmt.
• Azure infrastructure services (VMs, VNets, storage, hybrid links).
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup (e.g., Pure, Exagrid, Veeam).
• Ability to lead complex infrastructure projects cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, automate, and maintain enterprise Windows Server infra across on-prem, VMware, and Azure.
• Develop standards, automate processes, and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Support 24x7 on-call rotations for escalations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage large-scale infrastructure projects.
