Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer VI – Systems to lead architecture, verification, and lifecycle management of complex defense systems.

You will define requirements management, architecture strategy, and cross-domain integration across propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test disciplines. You will oversee risk management, formal reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR), and MBSE standards, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring contractual compliance for multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related STEM field with extensive systems engineering experience or equivalent.
• Deep familiarity with MDA processes and lifecycle standards (CDRL, SE lifecycle).
• Expert-level proficiency in requirements management tools (DOORS).
• Knowledge of SE lifecycle standards (INCOSE SE Handbook, MIL-STD-499).
• Significant MBSE experience using SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler (MagicDraw).
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site technical authority for systems engineering across multiple programs.
• Define site requirements management strategy and traceability frameworks.
• Define system architecture strategy and verification/validation frameworks.
• Provide cross-domain systems engineering leadership with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test teams.
• Own site risk management strategy and escalation processes across programs.
• Lead formal reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and manage change configuration baselines.
• Provide MBSE leadership and align with digital engineering toolchain.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers on requirements flowdown and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior to mid-level systems engineers to grow process maturity.
