Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Engineer - Project Engineer V to serve as a senior technical authority on high-complexity defense and aerospace programs.

You will provide technical direction and programmatic oversight across engineering disciplines, aligning design, performance, and risk with mission and contractual requirements. The role represents engineering leadership at the enterprise level, contributing to strategy, process improvement, and technology development

Formación

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary engineering projects through full lifecycle
• Ability to develop and execute technical strategies aligned with business goals
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement across engineering and customer teams
• Technical depth to guide architecture-level decisions and complex trade studies
• Strategic thinker with continuous improvement mindset and mission focus
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and MIL-STD engineering processes

Responsabilidades

• Serve as chief project engineer or senior technical lead for large programs
• Define system architecture, integration and verification strategies
• Oversee engineering execution across IPTs and subcontractors
• Lead baseline definition, configuration management, and integration planning
• Chair design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and ensure readiness
• Interface with DoD customers and executives
• Manage SOWs and major supplier inputs
• Implement risk and opportunity management across programs
• Mentor project engineers and leads
• Support proposal development and cost estimation
• Enforce systems engineering standards and MBSE practices
• Drive engineering process improvements and knowledge management
