Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support DIA's NDOC under a long-term contract. You will handle requirements analysis, system design, integration, MBSE, and serve as Scrum Master for a software team. On-site in Bethesda, with some flexibility and occasional remote work.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in Agile, MBSE, and systems engineering. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver reliable platforms and services.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software development or systems engineering.
• Experience creating design packages and workflows.
• Experience writing technical solutions and whitepapers.
• Experience implementing Agile processes and techniques.
• Facilitating scrum activities including Planning, Retrospective, Grooming, and Review/Demo.
• Experience with GitLab, Jira or Confluence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with MBSE approaches and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering tasks including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and sustainment.
• Support MBSE for planning, design, execution, and sustainment with the team.
• Lead a software development team as Scrum Master, manage risks, and drive improvements.
• Define processes for platforms, specifications, and hardware/software compatibility.
• Establish systems engineering processes and tools for analysis, diagnostics, and testing.
• Manage a scrum team across microservices and system architectures.
