Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, engineer, develop, and deploy software for the DIA-NMEC DOMEX Platform. You will lead an application team, drive requirements analysis, and oversee architecture, testing, and continuous deployment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, CS, or Systems Eng with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or Masters with 10–13 years.
• Software development in Java or Python.
• Experience as Systems Engineer or Product Owner in Agile teams.
• Experience with requirements and design documentation.
• Strong backlog management and Agile practices with GitLab/Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all aspects of the team's development efforts.
• Plan, design, and oversee software solution implementation.
• Coordinate system engineering activities from analysis to testing.
• Maintain sound engineering practices and governance.
• Develop backlog items, prioritize stories, and plan increments in SAFe.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster cross-team collaboration.
