Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead and coordinate system engineering activities for national security programs. The role requires extensive experience in defining requirements, architecture, and integration of complex systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality deliverables.

The candidate will interact with government stakeholders and program leadership to communicate risks, status, and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with objectives and policies.

Qualifications

• Twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or related field; or 5 extra years of Systems Engineering in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, CONOPS documents, and architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead system design and development activities.
• Guide users in defining requirements, advise on approaches, and conduct feasibility studies to support technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in integrating requirements, system design, and emerging technologies.
• Incorporate new plans and systems into operations while aligning with objectives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture and design documents.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through SE management plans and test plans.
• Interface with Government on SE considerations, issues, and conflicts.
• Maintain ultimate responsibility for technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables.
• Collaborate with program personnel, Government stakeholders, and executives to communicate status, risks, and solutions.
