Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Mid-Level Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government customer. This role supports a DoD program, communicating with program personnel, customers, and senior executives, and ensures the technical integrity of work and deliverables across ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.

You will lead systems engineering activities, supervise staff, make independent engineering decisions, brief stakeholders, and contribute to system documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related discipline.
• At least 15 years of systems engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project.
• Brief stakeholders and present status on technical aspects.
• Analyze engineering standards and propose improvements.
• Develop system engineering documentation such as SEPs and requirements specs.
• Coordinate resolution of action items from reviews and cross-discipline meetings.
