Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer Senior to deliver simple solutions to complex problems. You will help design server and application architectures, manage admin operations, and ensure security and reliability across Windows Server environments.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and technical guidance to engineers with less experience. On-site work at Fort Bragg NC is expected, with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server platforms (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory administration.
• Experience with server virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper‑V) and with troubleshooting complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage server and application architectures; maintain security and configurations.
• Develop baseline configurations and modification procedures; troubleshoot system issues.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior administrators; document technical processes.
