Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with server virtualization (VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Experience with OpenText Livelink product.
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred.
• Has full technical knowledge of all phases of systems engineering.
• Excellent communication skills; tact, listening, and follow through.
• Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineers with less experience.
• Creation of effective user manuals; detail oriented and organized.
• May review the work of others and identify errors or needed modifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing server and application architectures.
• Manage administrative operation and maintenance of server hardware and software.
• Maintain system security and procedures; monitor usage statistics and logs.
• Develop baseline configurations and modify configuration settings as needed.
• Troubleshoot system-related problems and provide incident response guidance.
• Provide leadership to less experienced engineers and stay current with OS/software developments.
• Contribute to documentation and future project recommendations.
