Job summary
Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software supporting the DIA-NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) and the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P). You will work with government leads to decompose high-priority requirements into delivered solutions, performing analysis, design, integration, and testing.
The role leads an application team, manages risks, drives continuous improvement, and ensures scalable, reliable systems within DoD/IC environments,
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 12–15 years of experience or MS with 10–13 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Java or Python software development.
- Experience as a Systems Engineer, Product Owner, or similar role in Agile teams.
- Ability to create requirements/design docs, diagrams, and RFxs.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for the team and oversee software development plans.
- Coordinate design, implementation, and testing of backend services.
- Maintain backlog in Agile/Scrum with story and epic management.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers on best practices.
