Base-2 Solutions is seeking a senior software engineer with a Top Secret/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph for on-site work at Annapolis Junction, MD. The role focuses on analytics, large-scale systems, and security-focused development across Java, C++, Python, and related technologies.

The candidate will contribute to distributed computing, data storage, and AI/NLP projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions for national defense

Qualifications

• 14 years of software engineering experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4 years additional software engineering experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems based on requirements.
• Works individually or within a team.
• Reviews and tests components for design adherence and documents results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Incorporates design trade-offs and reusability into software components.
