Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to support OSINT Integration Center under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. The role focuses on Linux/Windows administration, performance optimization, and user support in a highly secure environment.

Responsibilities include building and patching systems, enforcing DISA STIGs, and managing Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and cloud services. Travel not indicated; on-site Bethesda location.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years experience.
• Expertise in Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Experience with patching and virtual server builds.
• Familiarity with Agile project management and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, installations, configurations, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop and maintain server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm.
• Develop scripts for patching and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Administer AWS cloud environments including provisioning and monitoring.
• Provide service desk coverage on a rotating schedule (6 AM–6 PM).
