BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to join a hybrid team based in Tampa, FL or Warrenton, VA. You will architect and deliver complex systems, lead milestone reviews, and mentor engineers while coordinating with partners and customers.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of systems engineering experience, a Bachelor's in engineering, DoDAF/MBSE familiarity, and active US Secret clearance. Competitive compensation and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven systems engineering experience delivering high-consequence technical solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university; advanced degree preferred.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience with DoDAF-compliant architecture and MBSE concepts.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver solutions for complex systems and systems of systems.
• Lead with engineering rigor, testing, documentation, and reliable delivery across the lifecycle.
• Serve as a technical contact with external partners and customers.
• Lead milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and manage requirements verification.
• Create and maintain ICDs, CDDs, BOMs, and other engineering artifacts.
• Enforce configuration management policies and version control.
