Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is hiring a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to lead complex system architectures from design through deployment. The role is hybrid in Warrenton, VA, requiring hands-on hardware lifecycle management, interface with vendors, and strong collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of systems engineering experience, a Bachelor’s in engineering, and an active U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven systems engineering experience.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with COTS server, networking, or communications hardware.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver solutions for entire systems and systems of systems.
• Maintain rigorous testing and documentation across development lifecycle.
• Interface with vendors and customers to ensure hardware quality and delivery.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, BOMs, ICDs, CDDs, and engineering drawings.
• Support ECOs and configuration management activities.
• Perform root cause analysis on hardware failures and drive corrective actions.
