Job summary

BCubed Engineering, an Auria company, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to lead all system engineering activities for the Stoic Warrior program. This hybrid role requires up to four days on site and involves coordinating with customers and cross‑functional teams to define mission‑focused software systems.

You will translate mission needs into requirements and architectures, prepare SRR/PDR/CDR packages, support integration and verification, and ensure delivery milestones align with program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6+ years experience in systems engineering for complex software or mission-critical systems.
• Experience leading system definition, architecture development, and technical baseline assessments.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes including requirements development and verification/validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering activities to define and document mission-focused software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine mission needs, operational scenarios, and system performance objectives.
• Translate mission needs and constraints into system requirements and functional architectures.
• Develop system architectures, interface definitions, data flows, and technical models to support design and decision making.
• Prepare and deliver SRR, PDR, and CDR packages.
• Work with software teams to ensure system-level requirements are implemented correctly.
• Identify system risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Support system integration, testing, and verification; engage customers for mission readiness.
