Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to translate complex satellite mission needs into technical specifications for agile development across a classified environment.

You will lead engineering product teams, define requirements, backlogs, and test plans, and ensure rigorous cybersecurity and system accreditation throughout the lifecycle.

Onsite work at SCIF/SAPF is required; compensation reflects extensive experience and security-clearance prerequisites.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of systems engineering experience on complex, cloud-based satellite systems or similar.
  • Qualified to lead technical teams and deliver end-to-end system projects.
  • Experience with MBSE, modeling, simulation and agile processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering from requirements through deployment and accreditation.
  • Define program increments, backlogs, sprints, and architectural approaches.
  • Ensure high-quality requirements analysis, testing, and cybersecurity.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver classified software for satellite missions.
