Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead Agile design, development, and deployment of mission management software for satellite constellations. You will guide architecture, orchestration of Space Capability Stacks, and complex mission planning in secure environments.

You’ll lead a high-velocity team delivering modular, scalable solutions for classified systems. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, onsite work at SCIF/SAPF, and deep expertise in distributed systems, DevSecOps,

Qualifications

8+ years of experience with software development.
Experience as technical lead.
Experience as a software engineering leader for complex mission software.
Experience with software architecture for distributed systems.
Experience with Agile methodologies, Git, SQL, Python, AWS and Kubernetes.
Ability to work onsite at an accredited SCIF/SAPF to support classified system integration.
TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

Lead and support Agile design, development, integration and deployment of a mission management software for satellite constellations.
Define system architecture and develop software to optimize orchestration of Space Capability Stacks.
Lead a software team in high-velocity Agile development of mission planning, automated tasking and replanning.
Ensure solutions integrate with existing environments while maintaining modular, scalable architecture.
Work in high-security, classified cloud environments ensuring pipelines meet security and performance standards.
