Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to translate satellite mission needs into precise specifications and to drive agile design, development, integration, and deployment of mission management software for proliferated satellite constellations.

You will lead systems engineering from requirements through production, guiding teams in architecture, backlogs, test plans, and cybersecurity to deliver critical capabilities. A TS/SCI clearance and onsite SCIF work are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering for complex, cloud-based, or proliferated satellite systems.
• Experience as technical lead and as systems engineering leader, delivering complex mission software and developing system architectures, requirements, interface definitions, system test plans, deployment plans, and training.
• Experience conducting test and evaluation of system performance and documentation of results.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
• Experience with Modeling and Simulation.
• Experience with Agile, systems engineering, requirements management, increment planning, software design, system test planning, risk management, configuration management, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to work onsite at an accredited SCIF/SAPF to support classified system integration.
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Translate complex satellite mission needs into technical specifications to support Agile design, development, integration and deployment of mission management software.
• Lead engineering product teams through requirements, development, testing, and deployment in a high-velocity environment.
• Define program increments, scope backlogs and sprints, and develop architectural approaches.
• Ensure rigorous requirements analysis, cybersecurity, and system accreditation processes.
