Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in Colorado Springs is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to translate complex satellite mission needs into technical specifications and guide Agile design, development, integration and deployment of mission management software for proliferated constellations.

You will lead systems engineering from requirements to production, define backlogs and sprints, develop architectures, and ensure rigorous analysis, testing and cybersecurity for classified cloud-based deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering for complex, cloud-based, or proliferated satellite systems.
• Experience as technical lead and systems engineering leader, delivering complex mission software and developing architectures, requirements, interfaces, test plans, deployment plans and training.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Modeling & Simulation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, requirements management, increment planning, software design, system test planning, risk management, configuration management, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to work onsite at an accredited SCIF/SAPF to support classified system integration.
• TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering from requirements through development, test, and production.
• Define requirements, scope program increments, and manage backlogs and sprints.
• Develop architectural approaches and guide teams on satellite mission software for cloud-based infrastructures.
• Lead engineering product teams and ensure high-quality requirements analysis, development, testing, and cybersecurity.
• Oversee system accreditation and delivery of classified software to cloud environments.
