Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is recruiting a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Senior Systems Engineer to support PMA-251 at Patuxent River NAS, MD. The role involves coordinating FMS cases with France, Japan, Spain, Canada and others, leading international risk management, and interfacing with USA Navy and industry partners.

The position requires 10+ years in engineering, DoD experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance. Travel overseas 1–2 times per quarter is expected."

Qualifications

• Must have a Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree
• ALLOWED SUBSTITUTION: BS or BA plus 4 years of relevant experience
• Ten years of engineering experience, three years in DoD systems
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs
• Understanding of program management, acquisition processes, and international defense cooperation
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders across U.S. Navy, partners, and industry
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Perform programmatic or technical knowledge to design and test practical solutions for engineering problems; guide development of modern complex systems.
• Coordinate internal and external action items and communications with stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain communication with project team leaders and officials to ensure SE practices are followed.
• Lead Risk Management within the international team.
• Respond to engineering taskers as directed by the Program Office leadership.
• Prepare project correspondence such as technical reports, letters, and memorandums.
• Serve as PMA-251's Systems Engineering representative and provide technical inputs and reports.
