Job summary

SAIC is seeking an FMS Lead Systems Engineer for all Foreign Military Sales programs supporting PMA251. You will provide engineering support, integrate EMALS and AAG on the Future French Carrier, and advise PMA251 FMS leads and case managers.

You will review engineering documents, coordinate across multiple disciplines, and lead technical reviews to resolve issues. International travel is required and a DoD Secret clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant Systems Engineering experience.
• Clearance required: US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and accept engineering documents for accuracy and compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate meetings with Contractor(s) and PMA domestic team.
• Lead and participate in SETR events and technical reviews; track engineering action items.
• Develop and review technical documentation, proposals, and ICDs for FMS programs.
• Facilitate communications across PMA IPTs, FMS, USN, contractors, and program leadership.
• Provide technical recommendations on ECPs, TDs, and related docs.
• Assess cost, schedule, and performance impacts of new technologies.
• Understand and implement the NAVAIR FMS process and compliance requirements.
• International travel is required.
