Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is recruiting a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Senior Systems Engineer to support the PMA-251 Office at Patuxent River NAS in Lexington Park, MD. The role spans coordination with FMS cases involving multiple nations and requires remote work with overseas travel 1–2 times per quarter.

You will lead systems engineering activities, manage requirements, and coordinate with Navy and industry stakeholders to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Requires an MS or MA in a technical or scientific discipline.
• BS with an additional four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the MS/MA.
• Ten years of recent and relevant engineering experience, with at least three years in DoD systems.
• Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs is required.
• Understanding of program management, acquisition processes and international defense cooperation is strongly desired.
• Must be able to liaise with stakeholders across U.S. Navy, partners and industry to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Performs programmatic or technical analyses to guide development of complex systems using systems engineering methods.
• Lead requirements management and coordination of internal/external action items and communications.
• Maintain communications with project team leaders, officials, and IPT members to ensure proper SE practices.
• Lead Risk Management processes within the international team.
• Respond to engineering taskers as directed by Program Office leadership.
• Prepare project correspondence including technical reports, letters and memorandums.
• Serve as PMA-251’s Systems Engineering representative and prepare reports and trip/motion items.
