Job summary

IDEMIA National Security Solutions (NSS) is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join a scrum team focused on product development and delivery for government customers. The role entails translating features into user stories and delivering high-quality code across Linux and Windows environments.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on software development and deployment experience, be comfortable working with minimal supervision, and collaborate with experienced staff on planning and executing

Qualifications

• Five+ years of systems integration experience.
• Experience with Linux, Linux shells & scripting languages.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, VNC, Git/Gitlab, and/or othersimilar products.
• Experience with RDBMS, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Practical knowledge of and experience employing sound engineering principles and problem-solving methods.
• Good working knowledge of best practices for coding including clear comments, source control, and code reviews.
• Experience with RDBMS data models.
• Experience with cloud services.
• Experience withDevSecOpspipelines.

Responsibilities

• Work with a scrum team to breakdown Features into stories and work together to size the stories.
• Develop high quality code/work productsfrom User Storiesfor delivery toIDEMIAcustomersand internal staff.
• Build software components for multiple operating systems including Linux and Windows.
• Work closely withscrumteam to meet sprint goals.
• Self-manager who researches current and emerging technologies and adheres to best practices.
