Job summary

NuAxis Innovations seeks a System/DevSecOps Engineer to design, develop, and support secure, scalable web applications in a federal program. The role collaborates across Product Owners, FPMs, BAs, architects, UX/UI, QA, and DevSecOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong AWS, front-end and back-end skills, containerization, DevSecOps practices, and experience with event-driven architectures. Remote/hybrid options may apply based on program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Experience building cloud-native, microservices-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications end-to-end.
• Develop responsive, accessible UIs with Angular and React.
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and serverless components with AWS.
• Design relational database schemas and optimize queries (PostgreSQL).
• Develop event-driven solutions using Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Deploy and manage apps on EC2, containers, and cloud-native environments.
• Create containerized apps with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps to implement CI/CD and IaC.
• Integrate apps with enterprise systems and external APIs.
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; mentor juniors and contribute to architecture.
