Job summary

IDEMIA National Security Solutions (NSS) is seeking a software engineer to join a Scaled Agile Framework scrum team focused on product development and delivery for government customers. The ideal candidate will work on software components across Linux/Windows and help deploy systems with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have strong experience with Linux, scripting, cloud services, DevSecOps pipelines, and collaboration within crossfunctional teams.

Qualifications

Five+ years of systems integration experience.
Experience with Linux, Linux shells & scripting languages.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, VNC, Git/Gitlab, and/or other similar products.
Experience with RDBMS, preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Practical knowledge of sound engineering principles and problem-solving methods.
Good working knowledge of coding best practices including comments, version control, and code reviews.
Experience with RDBMS data models.
Experience with cloud services.
Experience with DevSecOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

Work with a scrum team to breakdown Features into stories and size the stories.
Develop high quality code/work products from User Stories for customers and internal staff.
Build software components for Linux and Windows.
Collaborate with the scrum team to meet sprint goals.
Self-manager who researches technologies and follows best practices.
