Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Seattle seeks a Sr Engineer - Systems Design & Implementation to lead the deployment of body cameras, in-car video and digital evidence management, bridging design and on-site integration. You’ll own the technical solution, deliver as-built documentation, run requirements sessions, and collaborate with sales, PMs, engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Public Safety software application system implementation experience.
• Computer hardware sizing, configuration and implementation experience.
• TCP/IP networking experience (wired and wireless).
• Ability to pass background check and CJIS security clearance.
• LTE Network Modem/Router background.
• Technical writing ability to convey complex info to nontechnical audiences.
• Knowledge of Public Safety operations and Motorola Solutions applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement body cameras, in-car video systems, digital evidence management, and real-time command center software.
• Serve as the technical solution owner for projects and deliver system as-built documentation.
• Identify interface requirements and coordinate with the implementation team for design.
• Lead customer requirements discovery sessions and conduct on-site deployments.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, engineering, product and other SMEs.
