Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer - Project Engineer V to provide senior technical leadership on complex defense and aerospace programs. The role requires coordinating across engineering disciplines, leading design reviews, and ensuring alignment with mission requirements.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years leading DoD programs, strong architecture and risk management skills, and the ability to interface with DoD customers and executive management.

Qualifications

• Requires active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
• Experience leading large multi-disciplinary engineering programs
• Strong leadership and communication with executive and customer stakeholders
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and MIL-STD systems engineering processes

Responsibilities

• Lead large, multi-phase defense/aerospace programs
• Define system architecture and verification strategies
• Oversee IPTs, subcontractors, and reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
• Manage SOWs, technical deliverables and risk management
• Mentor project engineers and lead process improvements
