Job summary

BAC is seeking a Senior Staff Systems Engineer to lead system-level design and execution within the NPI group. You will guide cross-functional engineering through concept to commercialization, ensuring performance, cost, manufacturability, and quality targets are met.

You will mentor engineers, drive advanced problem-solving, and ensure compliance with global standards while advancing continuous improvement across global teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of circulating air blower systems, heating & cooling systems, and electrical systems integration.
• Experience in component and equipment selection (fans, pumps, piping, controls, heat exchangers).
• Strong applied knowledge of fluid dynamics, airflow systems, and thermodynamics.
• Experience leading system validation and performance optimization efforts.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD systems and engineering analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level development for NPI projects, including cost reduction, new products or technologies, or performance improvements.
• Estimate and achieve system-level performance objectives (thermal, airflow, power, sound, cost).
• Mitigate system-level risks through modeling, CFD/FEA, performance analysis, and failure mode assessments.
• Drive root cause analysis for complex challenges on NPI prototypes and testing.
• Analyze competitor performance to maintain BAC's competitive advantage.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to other Systems Engineers and Design Engineers.
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory codes and standards (e.g., CTI, GB, UL, ASME, CE, PED).
• Promote continuous improvement and global engineering best practices.
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
