Job summary

BAC, a leader in advanced cooling technology, seeks a Senior Manager of Advanced Technology to own end-to-end technology development from sourcing through NPI-ready outputs. You will lead a global, cross-functional organization, align with marketing and engineering, and drive investment in disruptive, high-impact technologies.

You will build scalable processes, manage risk, and advance invention protection while guiding partnerships and manufacturing interfaces to accelerate industrialization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• ~15+ years of engineering experience in R&D and NPD environments; minimum leadership experience of ~5 years.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and complex programs from concept to productization.
• Proven experience in technology sourcing, external partnerships, and IP management and execution.
• Proven track record of building advanced engineering organizations, playbooks, and scalable processes.
• Experience operating in global, cross-functional engineering environments, including manufacturing interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Advanced Technology across four core teams: Technology Scouting, Design and Testing, Emerging Technologies, and Heat Transfer Systems.
• Own end-to-end technology pipeline from sourcing to NPI readiness, including portfolio shaping and prioritization.
• Enforce a structured execution model for validated, NPI-ready technologies with defined performance, risks, and IP positions.
• Own technology sourcing and partnerships, including global scouting program and IP strategy.
• Drive alignment with Global Marketing, Global Engineering, and other stakeholders on priorities and resource allocation.
• Manage team performance, budget, and pipeline visibility to scale capacity and impact.
• Represent BAC externally in technical and industry settings to support technology development.
