Job summary

Anthropic is seeking an NPI Engineer to bridge electrical and mechanical design with supply chain and factory teams. You will shepherd new power and cooling products through EVT, DVT, PVT, FAT, and SAT, ensuring qualification before production load.

This is a hands-on role on supplier floors, labs, and on-site commissioning. You will coordinate across engineering, supply chain, and quality to meet ramp goals, define tests, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience in power electronics or industrial energy systems.
4+ years in an NPI, product development, or product engineering role from prototype to ramp.
Hands-on with supplier factories, test labs, and site commissioning.
Fluency in design-for-manufacturing and design-for-test concepts.

Responsibilities

Own the NPI program for new power or cooling products from concept to ramp.
Lead supplier design engagement and trade-off negotiations with engineering teams.
Lead DFM/DFT/DFx reviews to ensure manufacturability at required rates.
Plan and run EVT/DVT/PVT, FAT/SAT, and first articles with testing plans.
Qualify products for deployment and sign off on production readiness.
Handoff to steady state and support first production ramps with: control plans and procedures.
