Job summary

Blue Origin in Merritt Island, FL is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead ground systems certification for the New Glenn program in support of National Security Space Launch and NASA missions.

You will coordinate with internal and external teams, manage requirements, deliver verification plans, and support customer certification activities from planning through execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years in large-scale aerospace programs.
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering V, including requirements development, verification plans, and V&V closure.
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paced programs/projects.
• Experience with Confluence and JIRA; DOORS and Windchill are preferred.
• Ability to travel within the U.S. and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Primary focal for New Glenn ground system certification activities.
• Manage USG program resources, schedules, and budgets to meet goals.
• Lead customer facing reviews and program planning meetings.
• Coordinate with engineering, launch operations, and support organizations.
• Create data reports for executive leadership on readiness and issues.
