Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a senior Systems Engineer/Program Manager to lead ground systems certification activities for the New Glenn program, interfacing with US government customers. The role requires planning, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering certification artifacts for both ground processing and launch activities.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, drive V&V activities, and engage with NASA and US Space Force to maintain program readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of proven experience with large-scale aerospace development programs.
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering V model, including requirements development, verification plans, and V&V closure.
• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paced programs/projects.
• Expertise with tools such as Confluence and JIRA, plus engineering tools DOORS and Windchill.

Responsibilities

• Primary focal for ground system certification activities within New Glenn program.
• Manage USG program resources, schedules, and budgets to meet goals and customer satisfaction.
• Lead customer-facing meetings and technical reviews to align USG with Blue Origin plans.
• Collaborate with engineering and launch operations to ensure requirements and deliverables are met.
• Create and present data reports to executive leadership on readiness, escalations, and wins.
