Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 8 years' experience in design operation and/or maintenance of complex U.S. Navy Surface Combat Systems.
• At least 4 years' experience as a SPY Radar Technician.
• Experience analyzing recommended changes and determining impact on readiness and user functionality.
• Experience reading design documents and evaluating high-level interface diagrams and commercial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level engineering support on Navy surface ship combat systems.
• Recommend changes in technical application and lead projects.
• Develop and apply advanced methods for difficult system design problems.
• Plan, conduct, and direct projects including coordinating engineers and staff.
• Evaluate system capabilities and review completion of work and enhancements.
• Lead and train others; communicate technical information clearly.
