Job summary

V2X is seeking a Senior Radar Engineer/Scientist to support a Dahlgren, Virginia government customer. The role requires on-site work and involves sensor systems across lifecycle, including DBR, G/ATOR, SPY-1, SPY-6, ERDDS and related systems.

Responsibilities include developing systems engineering plans, conducting analysis for architecture design, interoperability, and testing, as well as field support with potential shipboard or shore-side assignments. Active Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a degree in engineering or related fields with ABET accreditation, or related STEM degrees (Math/CS/Physics).
• General sensor engineering experience with 5–10+ years depending on degree.
• Specialized radar system engineering experience (2+ years).
• Requires an active Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of systems engineering plans from requirements through design verification.
• Plan and execute engineering strategies as per project acquisition plans.
• Provide technical analysis and systems engineering support for architecture design and interoperability.
• Develop test and evaluation documentation for radar software/hardware.
• Research and develop system/subsystem specifications ensuring requirement traceability.
