Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Software Engineer III to provide engineering support to NSWCDD DNA and related programs, focusing on Combat Systems, SSA, cybersecurity, and CMS integration for the AtWS.

The role covers installation, testing, documentation, and lab/network infrastructure activities across on-site environments, with strict security and DoD compliance requirements, and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 5 years in software/combat systems areas.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; seven years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Experience with DoD cyber and system integration activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for AtWS integration, testing, and evaluation.
• Develop and maintain documentation for networks and engineering artifacts.
• Assist in lab facilities operation and combat system infrastructure.
• Support CMS integration, OEM testing, and sea/shore validations.
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, VMware ESXi, and Cisco devices.
• Perform DoD cybersecurity assessments and STIG compliance tasks.
• Collect and report test results, support system certification and fleet acceptance.
