Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises seeks a Systems Engineer to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, VA. You will perform high-level engineering support for the International Programs Office, assess baseline changes, and determine training impacts on FMS baselines.

The role requires a HS diploma and 6+ years in Navy surface combat systems; a SECRET clearance is required to engage with government staff and contractors. Minimal travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in design operation and/or maintenance of complex U.S. Navy Surface Combat Systems.
• Experience designing and developing solutions to improve user functionality.
• Experience analyzing proposed changes and impact on operators and maintainer duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level engineering support for the International Programs Office (N7I).
• Assess baseline changes and determine training impacts to FMS baselines.
• Apply surface ship combat systems knowledge to training requirements and training impacts.
