Qualifications

• Prior Naval Nuclear Program experience.
• Bachelor's of Science or higher in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Engage with shipyard trades and test organizations to avoid pitfalls and ensure first-time quality and on-time completion.
• Engage with vendors on-site and remotely to implement manufacturing process changes and clear bottlenecks for in-yard delivery.
• Provide technical rationale and sound engineering recommendations to prime contractors and Navy for approval of non-conformances.
• Design, maintenance, and issuance of test equipment drawings with focus on quality and user experience, reviewing test procedures.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design development, and on-hull implementation of system and component design changes for improvements.
