Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Required).
• 0-4 years of post-graduate engineering experience (Required).
• Preferred: BS in Mechanical, Marine, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Preferred: Active DOD Secret clearance.
• Preferred: Prior Naval Nuclear Program experience.
• Preferred: Experience with fluid systems fittings & components.
• Preferred: Experience testing fluid systems (hydrostatic testing, flushing, calibration, leak checks).
• Preferred: Experience designing custom parts.
• Preferred: Engineering experience through work, internships, or summer positions.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintenance, and issuance of test equipment drawings with a focus on technical quality and end-user experience.
• Supporting test trades and test engineering organizations by collaborating on test equipment designs and offering technical expertise on the available equipment.
• Reviewing of test procedures and other source documentation to ensure designed test equipment is within the required specifications and will function as expected during testing.
