Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT seeks an Experienced Component Engineer to join the team at the Groton Shipyard. You'll contribute to design, construction and maintenance of propulsion and related components for VIRGINIA Class and SSN(X) programs, interfacing with multiple departments and vendors.

The role involves project management tasks, technical reviews, and production support. A BS in Mechanical/Aerospace/Marine Engineering and 5+ years post-graduate experience are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering.
• 5+ years of post graduate engineering experience.
• Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering (preferred).
• Component development experience (preferred).
• Program and/or project management experience (preferred).
