Job summary

Requirements: BS in Engineering; 5+ years post-graduate experience. Preferred: BS or higher in Mechanical/Marine/Aerospace/Manufacturing; active DoD Secret clearance; Naval Nuclear Program experience.

• 5+ years of professional, post-graduate engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with shipyard trades and test organizations to ensure first-time quality and on-time completion.
• Engage with vendors on-site and remotely to support manufacturing process changes and avoid bottlenecks.
• Provide technical rationale and engineering recommendations to prime contractors and the Navy for non-conformances.
• Design, maintain, and issue test equipment drawings while ensuring quality and user friendliness.
• Lead feasibility studies, design development, and on-hull implementation to improve performance or manufacturability, with up to 25% travel.
