Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead infrastructure projects, migrations, and advanced troubleshooting within a managed services environment in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, collaboration with executives and vendors, and delivering high-quality IT solutions.

Based in the Bay Area, hybrid work, base pay range $135,000–$145,000, with focus on Microsoft 365, Azure AD, AD, networking, security, and DR.

Qualifications

Several years of senior-level IT infrastructure experience, preferably within an MSP environment.
Ability to independently manage technical projects with limited supervision.
Completed projects such as 365 migrations, server/AD migrations, file/SharePoint migrations, firewall and network upgrades.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead client IT infrastructure projects from start to finish.
Lead Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant configuration.
Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
Perform server migrations, virtualization projects, and infrastructure modernization.
Coordinate with vendors and client IT contacts.
Document environments and create implementation and migration plans.
Provide escalation support for L1/L2 technicians.
Occasionally perform onsite client work around the Bay Area.
