Job summary

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join People 1st IT’s technical team in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on project implementation, infrastructure improvements, migrations, and advanced troubleshooting within a managed services environment.

The ideal candidate will own complex projects end-to-end, document environments, and coordinate with vendors while providing escalation support. Hybrid work is offered with a base salary in the $135,000–$145,000 range.

Qualifications

• Senior IT infrastructure experience, preferably in MSP environments.
• Ability to independently manage complex projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations, Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint & OneDrive.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute client infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Lead Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant configuration, and related cloud projects.
• Design, deploy, migrate, and troubleshoot Windows Server and AD environments.
• Coordinate with vendors and provide escalation support to Level 1/2 technicians.
• Document environments, create implementation and migration plans, and communicate clearly with clients.
